The farming industry and the people involved are at the heart of Taranaki, and central to why Tim is committed to supporting farmers through property sales and purchases.
Tim is the fourth generation from an Irish dairy farming family in South Taranaki, and went to St Patrick's College, Silverstream. Following that he spent time in Ireland and Australia in the building trade and playing rugby before coming back to the family farm and working his way into farm ownership. Twenty years later the farm can allow him time to follow a new path and become a rural real estate salesperson.
Living just south of Hawera with his three children and a small collection of pets, Tim has an active role on the farm during calving, and then has it set-up so he only has to oversee the running of the farm. This allows him to contribute to the farming industry in other ways. Tim places heavy importance on the role farming plays in our community and the people involved in it. He is a facilitator for Taranaki Rural Support Trust and assists the Trust with the wellbeing of other farmers when required. With school-age children, Tim also coaches some of their sports teams at times.
Communication and honesty are always top of the list in Tim’s rule book, and getting the right outcome for you, the client, is paramount. The skills and experience he has gathered from his farming career over the years and the importance he puts on transparent relationships will ensure a successful ending to an exciting new beginning.
